to this page by sending your question to contact@hexis.fr When using wet application of transfer film, glue deposits remain on the panel. Different adhesives are available for application films. Depending on the composition of the latter – water or solvent – the water used for positioning dissolves some of the adhesive which then separates from the film and remains on the support. For water positioning, we recommend using film references HEX906 and HEX907. I want to plastic coat my print to protect it from graffiti and from the sun. To protect outdoor prints from UV rays we recommend using plastic coating film V700 followed by anti-graffiti film AG700. Applying these two films in this order will give the protection you are seeking. If the support does get tagged, clean it with "Décap’tout". When decorating a PVC canvas, the adhesive wrinkles and peels off. What can I do to prevent this happening? When using a PVC adhesive film on PVC canvas, the plastic in the canvas reacts with the PVC adhesive film, thus causing the film to wrinkle and peel off. For this type of application it is essential to use a special canvas that has been treated to delay the resurfacing of the plastic coating in the canvas. I am told that magnets cause car bodywork to rust. Not at all, if you scrupulously follow the recommendations for use in the technical leaflet of the product. In brief, remove the magnets from the vehicle and clean the magnetised side each week. The job should be stored flat when not being used. When I apply the print parameters for printing on V800, I am unable to find the original colours. Your printer is pre-set in relation to the supports envisaged by the manufacturer of the printer. However, print quality depends on the print profiles you use. To simplify calibrating your machine in relation to the supports being used, we supply the ICC outlines that take into account the brand of the printer, the RIP, the ink used and the resolution being employed. You can download curves already available in the menu " pro space/ ICC outlines". |
